This site, StartBusinessinIndia.com, is run by ProLead Financial Solutions Pvt Ltd, trading as ProLead Business Consulting (“ProLead”, “we”, “us”), registered office at Third Floor, Splendid Plaza, 4C 515, CMR Road, HRBR Layout, Bangalore – 560043. This policy explains what personal information we collect through the site, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What information do we collect?
- Contact form. When you send an enquiry, we collect the details you type in, such as your name, email address, company, country and message. Please do not include passport numbers, identity documents or other sensitive information in the form.
- WhatsApp enquiries. If you message us on WhatsApp at +91 90714 11931, we receive your number, your profile name and the content of the conversation. WhatsApp is operated by a third party under its own terms and privacy policy.
- Analytics cookies. We use analytics cookies, including Google Analytics, to see how visitors use the site, such as which pages they read and how they arrived. This data is aggregated and does not identify you by name. We group cookies as essential, analytics, marketing and preference cookies.
- Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting may log your browser type, operating system, device type and general location based on your IP address, for security and reliability. Our site is hosted on Wix.
How do we use your information?
We use your information to reply to your enquiry, to arrange a consultation, to prepare a proposal if you ask for one, to keep the site working and improve it, and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations. We do not sell your personal information. We will only send you marketing messages if you have agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time.
Who do we share it with?
We share information only with people who help us run the site and respond to you, such as our hosting, email, CRM and analytics providers, and with ProLead’s professional team who handle your enquiry, including accountants and other advisers where your enquiry needs their input. We may also share information where the law requires it. Because ProLead operates from both India and Singapore, your information may be transferred to and processed in both countries.

How long do we keep your information?
We keep your information for the duration of our relationship with you, and for as long afterwards as we need it to meet legal, regulatory, accounting or dispute-resolution requirements. We delete or anonymise it once none of these needs remain.

We aim to handle personal data in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection regime and other laws that apply to us. In general terms, that means telling you why we collect your data, using it for that purpose, keeping it secure and responding to reasonable requests about it.
